I think you selected the scheme without the shark mouth. Probably a good idea as that decal may a bit of entertainment fitting around the nose.

I agree plus the paint job looks a tad easier than the mottling of the shark mouth ship.

Got the cockpit assembled and put into place. Once that was done the fuselage sides were joined together.

Looking at pictures always shows the warts so a few minor touchups were performed and the control panel was reset so it now is flush under the conning deck of the front end of the cockpit. Most of the cockpit detail is out of sight once the halves are joined.
