Kit:Azur kit, Potez 631 French night fighter
scale: 1/48
Accessories: Out of the Box with some minor scratch built stuff if I need it. Kit comes with its own PE and resin accessories.

This is a French night fighter that isn't well known. Not sure how well I will do but didn't want to pass this chance up.

Great choice, and an interesting type - rather like a French Bf110.

BTW, for judging purposes, could you please ad the scale to the heading information, below the kit details ? Thanks.

Going through some research on this aircraft. Most sources I find are from other builds. Not a lot on interiors or actual color schemes outside of directions. Still there are a couple of French sites. One of the biggest bains of this plane, outside the underpowered engines, was its resemblance to the bf 110. Thats why several were shot down by their own people.

Wow... I've never even heard of this aircraft! The box art reminds me of both the Ki-45 Toryu (front end) and the Bf110 (tail end). Looking forward to an interesting subject!

Kept myself busy for the weekend. First I did a test dry fit to see if there were any problems to keep an eye out for. Noticed the gaps between the wings and fuselage and one gap under the horizontal stabilizers.

Then I looked over the wheels. Simple but I think I can do something with them. The tail wheel is made of resin. So I assembled the to main wheels and will work play with them when something else is drying.

Finally I looked at the exhaust pipes and found that they are not the typical. Fortunately I could fix it somewhat by drilling out the center then carving the ports into it. Actually doesn't look bad if I'm careful.

The Control panel could use some work. I don't have a PE for it but I have an idea that I will share later.
