Yeah I see what you mean. In service, though, they were quite useful. The night-fighter version were fatter!

Yes, amazing aircraft. Personally though I reckon the best flight sim I have ever played is Longbow Anthology based on my all time favorite Aircraft the AH-64D Apache Longbow. It won the game of the year in 1998 or so. I picked up a copy second-hand and haven't regreted buying it except for the fact that now I can't get it working on my XP machine, but that is a small minor hic-cup to playing a great game like that. Good graphics, good action, although I generally play at a very low level of realism because it is too easy to die at the higher difficulty levels in the missions.
