Here is a video demonstration of the Sperry S-1 Bombsight. The Sperry content is at the beginning, and for those who are unfamiliar with the solution to the bombing problem and its terms and how bombsights solve the problem, there is a second instructional video attached at the end. (The Sperry content is not the full twenty-two minutes.) Not only is the Sperry described, but its operation compared to the Norden bombsight is discussed. This may be the only operational Sperry bombsight anywhere.

I know of the Norden and Sperry... I'm curious what the third one was. It sounded like Stobbitt...

Thanks, already viewed that.
I have a rough idea of the size, but want to get actual measurements, which I'm hoping to receive from Parham Airfield Museum, Framlingham, Norfolk.
They have a Sperry sight on display which, although not exactly the same as the S-1M2, has the same basic case dimensions.
Pic below taken during my last visit there.

Is that an S-1 or a T-12? Not sure of the later ones model number, even though I only saw the photos of them yesterday, but they definitely had the sloping eye post.

Maybe I am misunderstanding him but I read Tim's post as he has one in his possession or has restored one.
