Shown here are two WAAF (Womens Auxiliary Air Force) assistants check the inventory on the newly commissioned ASR launch No.2562, a 21 m (68 ft) Hants & Dorset Mk.I built by the BPB (British Power Boat) Company, before its handover to an operational unit in February 1942. This craft served with ASR units at Calshot and Felixstowe.
