Shot down by a night- fighter (Uffz Rudolf Frank, 2./NJG3) and crashed 0124 15Jun43 at Ekeren (Antwerpen), 8 km N from the centre of Antwerppen, where all were buried 17Jun43 in Schoonselhof Cemetery.
