Shown here is a P-39D-1 Airacobra of Esquadrilla OK. A total of 18 Airacobras originally belonging to the 81st FG USAAF were acquired for service with the Portugese Army after they had landed at Portela de Sacavem airfield, Lisbon after running low on fuel en-route to Tunisia.
