Can anyone help me identify this propeller blade? It was passed to me by my great-uncle who was on the Board of Directors of a theater on Broadway, NYC. The blade was auctioned in the lobby of the Capitol Theater in 1944 as part of the Fifth war Bond Drive. I have a letter with it dated June 30, 1944 and signed by the Atlantic Coast Director of the War Shipping Administration, stating that it "was part of an enemy airplane shot down during the recent French invasion."
