Boeing B-17G Flying Fortress

Shown here is B-17G Flying Fortress (42-29651) 'Stella' being worked on by a mobile repair unit in a field at Lytchett Minster, where it landed on arrival from Marrakesh on 7th April, 1943. It later joined the 384th BG on 27th June, 1943.
