Bristol Beaufort Mk VIII

Australia's biggest wartime production of combat aircraft concerned the Beaufort. Al were powered by Pratt & Whitney Twin Wasp engines. The vast majority were Mk VIII's featuring an improved turret, larger fin and rudder and ASV radar.

The example above belonged to No.86 Squadron of the RAAF.
