Shown here is a knocked out Jagdpanther being inspected by an American soldier. This vehicle has the 'clean' gun barrel but the later style mantlet collar. Note the penetration made through the wheels. Jagdpanthers were vulnerable to such flanking shots and also to track damage caused by HE fire. Taken from Germany at War.
