Shown here is a fine three-quarter front view of a QIW1 Navy Patrol Plane Tokai (Eastern Sea) Model 11. Note the weapon attachment points underneath the fuselage for the carriage of two 250 kg (551 lb) depth-charges. The Tokai carried a defensive armament of one flexible rear-firing 7.7 mm (0.s0s in) Type 92 MG and (optional) one of two forward-firing 20 mm (0.79 in) Type 99 cannon.
