Shown here is an abandoned A5M4 Model 24/34 Carrier Fighter. Note the 160 litre (35.2 Imp gal) drop tank beneath the fuselage. The main difference between the Model 24 and 34 was that the latter was powered by the Kotobuki 41 KAI engine and minor airframe changes.
