Shown here is the 6,226 tonne (6,128 ton) Sperrbrecher 6 (ex-Magdeburg) under attack from Beaufighter TF.Mk.Xs of Nos.236 and 404 Sqds, also attacked was the 5,424 tonne (5,339 ton) Sperrbrecher 5 (ex-Schwanheim). The attacked took place off Royan on the 13th August, 1944.
