Shown here is USS Pillsbury (DE-133) as she circles around U-515. Assisted by Flaherty (DE-135), Chatelain (DE-149), and Pope (DE-134), U-515 was blasted to the surface she tried to fight her way out, but Chatelain and Flaherty were on target, and were shortly rescuing 43 survivors.
