He was a LT. and the Pilot Commander of a B-25 Mitchell with the Nose Art "Cover Girl" which was a copy of a photo of Peggy Corday from the back cover of "YANK" Magazine, British Edition dated July 2, 1944. He was based in Corsica, Italy in the 321st Bomb Group 447th BS.
