I am looking for drawings, or manuals of the rocket pylon/stubs fitted to F4U-1 & FG-1D Corsairs. As seen in these 2 photos. Any help much appreciated.

The rear glazing was identical to the turreted aircraft, The aircraft pictured was modified to this state by simply removing the turret and fairing over the hole with sheet aluminium.
Close, Wildcat. That Fern is the earlier 'White Fern' which first appeared in 1958, and was superseded by the 'Silver' fern in 1960, after complaints that the white one looked too much like a 'white feather'.
The White fern was a simple outline that was painted or stenciled on to the roundel...
The Vampires are flush riveted to a reasonably smooth finish. Additionally, the wings and horizontal stabiliser are filled, profiled and sanded smooth before top coating. This aids the laminar flow wing, the same as P-51 Mustangs.
Not from a crash, but i wonder if anyone can help ID this fairing/cover. Measurements are on the pics. Ignore the colour as it is a recent preservative coat. Even a clue as to the origin of the inspection stamps would be of great help.
