Hello again.
No, the kit still isn't finished. Meanwhile the hobby became my job and I didn't have time for it. Guess that probably Fine Molds will do its 1:72 Fw 190 kits before I finish this one ;)
Regarding the Big Kohona's question, Tally Ho does not exist anymore, but AML done a very...
Thank you for your inputs, guys:)
Now back to my relation.
First, some in-box photos:
As you can (I hope, because I'm not even a good photographer:( ) see from these photos, this Hasegawa's Fw 190 A-6 is in fact, just like their other A-5 and A-6 releases in 1:72 scale, their...
Thank you for your inputs, guys!
I think intermediate will be better, I was quite away from active modelling during last few years.
Without photos yet, but the all the kit's major components are out of sprues now, going through some cleaning up. I've checked the Quickboost's exhausts and...
Hello,
I would like to take part in competition with this build.
I want to make Fw 190 A-6 W.Nr. 550476 'Weiße 11' of Oblt. Georg 'Murr' Schott, Staffelkapitän of 1./JG 1. He was credited with 16, 19 or 20 (the number varies in different sources) victories. On 27 September 1943, he was shot...
Bill,
Wayne gave you an example of correct scheme for late war G-14.
Profiles from AJ Press' 'Bodenplatte' and Mushroom 'Bf 109 G' books are old and uncorrect, representing knowledge of Luftwaffe camouflage and use of paints from 80's or early 90's. As I know many other works of their authors...
RLM 79 for a late-war Bf 109 ? Does the kit instruction suggest it?
IMHO probable camouflage colours of your G-14 may be RLM 76/75/83.
Anyway, hope to see some pics of your kit soon :)
Regards,
Maciej
Well, the thing is that G-14 and G-14/AS have some major differences. Maybe you would like to make other, confirmed G-14?
I know a few which are covered by decals in 1/72 scale and I can help you
if you want.
Regards,
Maciej
Well, it has some disadvantages unfortunately.
My english isn't the best so I could not describe all, but will try to point out some:
- way too thick tail and rudder,
- too narrow wheels,
- wrong shape of side engine cowls,
- wrong shape of pilot seat,
- wrong shape of props blades (CMK...
Heh, it would be a quite similar job to this one to make an accurate 190 from Eduard kit...
Hasegawa's Fw 190s are the best kits in both 1:72nd and 1:48th scale.
BTW, do I remember correctly that Academy's kit offers tropical filters?
What decals do you plan to use?
Good luck anyway...
First, my own 'thank you' for Wayne,
I want to build Hübl's mount too.
Some photos from Rodeike's 'Focke Wulf Jagdflugzeug Fw 190 A, Fw 190 'Dora', Ta 152 H' for muller, covering 'rote 23'. The first photo is often described as taken on 24th April, 1944 after Bar's 200th kill.
BTW, that's...
