I used the same kit for a "what if" group build over at Hyperscale a couple of years back. Just a quick and dirty project but the 138 has lots of potential for those who care to take more time with modifications. Look forward to the results of your build.

No, that would be the Flugwerk replicas which are full size. WAR replicas are half scale and generally powered by converted auto engines, at least they were back then anyway.
Not a sub scale homebuilt but rather a 1/3 scale r/c model. Models were used in the movie of the Mustangs and "Tora" Zeros as well as a massive B-29 model.
Brings back some very fond memories. The Planes of Fame airshows during the mid and late eighties were simply fantastic. They still are fantastic of course, but the atmosphere back then was entirely different and never to be repeated. It was a different era and I miss those days very much...
