What is this? (Luftwaffe im Focus 31)

To my knowledge the external fuel tanks of any size on Bf 110 were not droppable.

What is this? (Luftwaffe im Focus 31)

Why edit out the website details of a very good publication? Yet it's OK to copy and upload the page of the publication?? If more people here bought and read it, and other more serious Luftwaffe books, then there would be far fewer daft uniformed remarks

What is this? (Luftwaffe im Focus 31)

OK a contributor further up has correctly identified (by reading the accompanying text....always helps before making daft remarks) the aircraft is coded 5D+BL and the therefore the unit is 3.(H)/31 (3.(H)/Auf.Kl.Gr. 31 or Aufklärungsgruppe 31) a long distance high level reconnaissance unit...

    1/48 Bf109-F2

Yes, Bf 109 Fs Black 1, Black 3 and Black 5, probably more but the Kagero profile is of Black 12. Also Fw 190A-4's. More images

    1/48 Bf109-F2

Once again relying on dodgy inaccurate profiles can lead to problems. Photo's, below, of Klöpper's actual aircraft indicate very little relation to Kagero's guesswork. Original photos and quality research is priceless. Sorry but if you rely on cheap books.......

JU 88 Tailwing Original Scribble Camouflage

KG 26 utilised the 'Wellenmuster Mäandertarn' camouflage in Norway on their Ju 88's and Ju 188. my best guess that this item comes from the time when all Luftwaffe in Norway were scraped. Bases include Trondheim-Vaernes , Bardufoss and Banak all in the north of Norway to attack the Artic...

An unfortunate use of the term, however I'm good thank you for the post. I just want to be helpful and with almost 2000 images of Jumo powered Bf 109's I hope I can be
