    German Aircraft Camera's

Sorry Wiking and @ Bruno, the weight is not there as this is a manual for tuning or upgrading the Rb's. But from memory, i seem to recall, the Rb 50/30 had a weight of approx. 160 Kgs, exclusive of the rig.

    Luftwaffe's whitewall tires

Very simple: It's an indicator that the aircraft is electrically grounded by/ via the tire(s). As you know, rubber is usually an insulator. In this case the tire is the "electric outlet to the ground. Otherwise a socket and wire would have to be installed into the plane to let this happen.

    The pilots backpack

All german airmen had a survival and first aid equipment in their suits or within their aircraft. Fighter pilots carried the most of them on their suit. The rest was in a compartment on the plane (first aid kit) or within the dinghi (water, emergency rations, signal dye etc.), that was attached...

    Bf-109 with Rifle

The concept or rational of the hunting rifle (the Bockdrilling) is survival, not firepower. The "Bockdrilling" is a universal hunting rifle as the ammo suggests: 12c/ 6G is for birds and rabbits 12c/ Brennecke is for wild boars 9,3x74 rifle ammo is for game like deers The replacement with...

    Bf-109 with Rifle

I remember seeing a packed rifle canister for a multiengined plane. The ammo was stored within the canister. But as for the Me 109, i would assume the additional ammo is within the emergency pack.

Fixed tail gun in an He-111

The germans found these devices interesting, but couldn't prove them successful enough to put them into wide scale action. The british also used it on ships as a defence against marauding enemy a/c. There are reported incidents on that. There seems to be some kind of success, until the...

Fixed tail gun in an He-111

Actually, these were not grenades (as in mortars or guns), but mines. IIRC, there were 2 - 4 containers in the aft cone of a He 111. These containers would open upon release and disperse a 200g mine hanging on a cable and a small parachute. A following plane should pick up the cable and the...

Which country had the best radar/ Aerial protection system?

Have a look here: Martin Streetly, Confound and Destroy. It is an old (1980), but very comprehensive book on British and German e-warfare technology.

    Synthetic fuel

No. It was equal in output to fuel made from crude oil.
