Yeah.... I was a cadet....119 Sqd ( UK ) way back in 1966 to 68 Did a lot of gliding and powered ( Chipmunks ) and spent a lot of time at RAF Finningley when they had the Vulcan bomber

This was taken in 2006 at Bruntingthorpe (where they have the Vulcan bomber and a couple of Lightnings ) When they start an engine, even if you know, it still makes you jump...!

The reason I havent posted in a while (nobody noticed ?) is because I took a staple to the finger..... I was lucky...it missed the bone....but I stopped breathing for a coupla seconds. Then to cap it all.....I bust a string on my guitar.... Well ...you can imagine......I just went to pieces...
