David Langlois

I have had a long association with aviation. My father worked on the RR Merlin from 1930-1937 at which point he joined the RN Fleet Air Arm where he trained as an electrical artificer. He worked on the Fairey Swordfish for several years. In 1957 we came to Canada for his work on the Avro Arrow. In 1960 we left Toronto and moved to Montreal. I went to university and in 1969 joined RR Canada as a Junior Engineer working on the Spey jet engine. I then had rather an eclectic career and retired 8 years ago.
