I was looking about operational history of the yak-9U during battle of berlin
Did yak-9U pilots score any aerial victories over Bf-109
And what german pilots were shot down by yak-9 in 1945
in one of caldwells JG26 books, i found something
During 13 march 1945 when meiss was shot down by 130 sqn spitfires
marischka was credited with one 130 sqn spitfire on the same day
I think fw190 d9 of jg26 brown 4 got them the rest were
Abandoned for scrap
Ah and the those were wooden tails
But about the wing weight am not sure
Since i dont have much knowdledge bout it
But guessed
Also few fw190Ds also gotten ta152 tails
But i dont think it whould improve the performance
The one problem was the 190ds were using fw190As heavy wings, so ta152 h was made to fix that fw190d high alt maneuvrability issue
I know the ta 152 shot down a few planes like yak-9 and tempest
But i read there was a p-51 and p47 claimed by josef keil
Are they confirmed or a false claim
