Interesting.!
I am no kind of expert, but i was not even aware of this plane.
I know the Brits used ...was it The Swordfish"..... all through the war for various things.
I did not realize anybody else flew a bi-plane in battles
This is what Wiki says about the Hs-123...
For example..................... when the usa went from The Wildcat to The Hellcat.
Where does the carrier go to get the new aircraft.?
And how do the pilots "learn" to fly the new planes.?
Do they go to a base somewhere that has instructors.?
Thank You
Funny, your last sentence.
I remember watching "The Longest Day" the 1962 Zanuck movie.
One of the German Generals is arguing on the phone with (I Guess) the ranking Luftwaffe Pilot in Normandy.
He complains to the general that all he has at his disposal is one other pilot and "Two Crates"...
Yeah.....thank you.
I am 100% ignorant about the ability of The Wehrmacht to move stuff by train once they crossed the border deeper into Russia.
I understand the guage was different and that the Russian Army must have attempted to sabotage SOME of it at least.?
What was the process for getting fuel to the farthest reaches of The Russian Campaign.?
Was it coming from Germany and Romania.?
I am not even sure, after reading The Octane Thread, if Av Gas was even made anywhere but Germany.
Anyway...........did Germany and its Allies have lots of 1 or 2...
Sorry if this has been explained many times. But when you do a search on a topis as big as this, it is hard.....for ME at least.... to find answers to a specific question.
Thinking of usa fighters................... P-38, P-40, P-47, P-51
Makes some kind of sense.
But the two main German...
That was a GREAT Video.
Thank You
There was a question on the comments similar to mine here.

The P-51 was superior at high altitude in part due to...
What was lacking in the P-40 that made the Allies decide not to upgrade it with a Merlin Engine.?
Or maybe it was done and the P-40 proved wanting in some area(s).?
Thank You
Did the P-38 have problems or issues with its turbo system throughout the war. Or did they just have troubles making it work at the wars beginning.?
Thank Yiou
Yeah, i was think "Economy" along the lines of bomber escort to Berlin........stuff like that.
The reason videos always give for the P-51, with Merlin, saving the day for The 8th Air Force.
