My grandfather was a Sgt. Arbon E Karr in the 51st Fighter Squadron "Battlin' Billygoats". Panama Canal Zone. 6th AF. He was a crew chief to a P-38L Lightning named the Double Bourbon. Tail No. 44-25239. Stationed at Howard Field APO 832. I am always seeking information about the 51st and 32nd FS. He was a member of both. He took lots of photos of the planes around Howard including the 51st P-38s and P-39s. 7th Radar B-24s (LB-30s), B-17s of 91st Photo Recon, and 28th fighter squadron.
