Slam- Thanks so much for your praise :) ArmouredSprue- its the Tamiya 1:48 P-51D boxing, with the prop blades I robbed from the F-51D box. AT6- Thats ye olde grass mats that I bought at the local model railroad shop... I've got 3 different mats, and 2 different lengths.

The Tam D Bubbletop allows you to build with and without the fillet... The Tam M kit is the real gem, as it allows you two different types of fillet, and has almost all of the D Bubbletop parts.

Nice work there bud! Hellcat's always look awesome! With regard to your Tam tape bleed thru... use a toothpick and make sure to rub down the edges of the tape properly against the frames of the canopy. Also.. remember to use a fresh scalpel or exacto blade and gently follow the canopy frames...

I'm honestly not sure... as I say, it was painted based purely on a painting my colleague had received from guys he worked with years ago!

Meatloaf.... thank you kindly for the offer... but seeing as my colleague wouldnt know the difference (and still doesnt)... I think things turned out ok! For my own builds, I do tend to strive for absolute accuracy etc. If I recall correctly, the Revell boxing doesnt come with swastikas...

Thanks guys! I know the swastika isnt the correct size.... as I said, it came from the spares bin (I believe a Tam Fw190).... I didnt have any 109 sized decals.
