C-47 That's All-Brother flame dampeners, where they from??

Believe it or now, we STILL unable to find anything about those flame dampeners! Lots of pictures and stories of those involved with TA-B are pouring in, but nothing on the stack. Anyone take a second look?

C-47 That's All-Brother flame dampeners, where they from??

I think more back pressure as longer pipes reduce flow, then the dampener itself. Thanks for all your input! Thanks!

"That's All Brother" D Day C-47 Being Restored By The CAF

They blew past the $75K kickstarter goal in a little over a day! Now trying for 250K to get restoration going. How historically importunate is it? Did not drop the A-bomb, but it lead and participated in 4 of the largest air drops in history, hundreds of men flew in it. What you rank its...

Cannons vs. MGs - the Reliability Angle

Very good read! A nugget of though reading from some of this: BoB: While at close range a 7mm would be effective, the fear of getting shot down by bombers defensive mounts kept them a little farther, add to the fear of collision too. Farther away, more dispersion, fewer hits and less...

    War Thunder General Discussion

Early? Later tiers are full of big gun Russian fighters that will dismember anything with one shot, yet I am finding opposite is true with other nations. It may be player bias but Germand and Japanese planes seem to be less effective, and it is true their cannons are not quite as powerful...

German Bomber loadouts (individual bomb sizes/makes)?

TO confirm THe fuel valures are in KG and not Liter? And then "t" in some documents does mean "Ton", as in 1 T = 1000kg?
