Good evening gents!
Here's a little voice from the past. My tour was longer that I expected, but it went well and I don't think I'll be going back to Afghanistan anytime soon.
As I promised before I left... Here is this little bird finished.
I hope my next model won't take that long.
WOW! Thank you judges and all the members! This is a great surprise and a motivation for further work. Like I said before I won't be able to do any models this year, but in 2013 I'm sure to participate in all the GB's that I can and to move up in Advanced category!! Thanks guys! :)
Really tough choice! After a while I decided to go with Wayne's Bf 109F-2... I just love the way it looks.
P.S. I saw my Fw-190A4 got one voice! Who ever voted for it, let me know, when I'm back from Afghanistan, the beer is on me! :D
Take care guys!
Here's some progress I did in a last few days... And that's it from me for now. This project is on hold. I got my orders few days ago. I'm leaving tomorrow, and I won't be back for a year... In a meantime I'll continue to visit this forum and participate by commenting other peoples work. All...

Just kidding! It's a real pleasure to watch your work! Well done!
I found these on the web.
Now when I started the kit assembly I see that fitting is not so great, but with some putty and sanding it'll be a nice model. I had a bad experience with Revell decals before, I hope these will work better. Speaking of which do you know better stuka kit in 1/72...
After the last large scale project, I'm in a need for a smaller scale, relaxing, project. I got this Stuka few months back from my wife. She also builds models, but only Jets (waste of talent ). When I'm finished I'll build a small desert diorama, and give it to her in hope to bring...
Thank you! I thought there are 8 mandatory shots, and 2 optional, sorry. Yeah, those two can be considered as optional! Before I started this model, I sure was a beginner. This is my first 1/48 scale ever, and the best model I ever built. I followed the tips from Osprey's model building manuals...
