Getting off-topic here, but after a bit of Goooogling I find that the Fort's maximum bomb load was 12,800lb, rather more than the Mossie could carry, methinks. BUT... its fully loaded max range was 1,100 miles. Berlin is 600 miles or so from the East Anglian bases, which is surely at (or beyond)...
