Need Color of Inside Main Landing Gear Covers for P-47D

You can find examples of D-25 with CE props. The screws were interchangeable with minor additional changes involved and these changes did happen in the service. The stainless steel protection included the turbine outlet.

Well, if You shared the S/N, there would be a fair chance for quite reasonable educated guess.

Oh, I missed the D-25 part. Good point and my bad. That was the transition moment when landing gear legs changed from OD to aluminium finish. You need to check the specific frame in this case, as stated above. Field repairs are other story obviously.

A terrible doubt regarding F4U Corsair BuNo

Order the second one too. Both are a treasure for any -U1 fan. I mean it.

    P-47D-22-RE with Hamilton Standard props

Still having in mind these two versions are simplification, as there were variants of asymmetrical blades. It would have been a matter of availability. You can exclude asymmetrical for some time period maybe - these appeared a bit later then symmetrical ones, but in the end You would have to...

    P-47D-22-RE with Hamilton Standard props

There is almost nothing a man can be certain of with these subjects. Yet, there is no information saying else. I mean, I never met it. And that is as far as I would dare to go. HS prop for Corsair U-4 was different. The hub had to fit to '60' spline, as C-series engine was used there. I have...

Yes. And there were shortages of HS props, so often there was no choice really.

Bad Gonzo! N-25 I have meant. My mistake, sorry.

    P-47D-22-RE with Hamilton Standard props

It would have rather been replacement, then modification. But yes field mounted prop. Possibly with whole QEC. Possibly not. It is more complicated with the props though. The propellers for C-series R-2800 differed from those for B-series. Different shafts, different cuffs. You can easily...

You may also add a bunch of 56th FG quite famous frames. The S/N not necessarily always visible on pics, yet known. These would be 'Stalag Luft III...', 'Silver Lady' and Mike Gładych's 'Pengie III'. Pictures are rather easy to find, I believe.

P-47D-22-RE: which variant of the R-2800 engine did it have?

They were not., I am afraid. -59 used GE ignition system which was 'the turtles' with integrated magnetos and distributors. -63 used Scintilla distributors with separate magneto between them. It was basically -21 with full factory ADI (WEP) system. As was -59 less different ignition. All three...
