    Henschel Hs 132 RS 1:72

How was this kit to build? Your finished product looks great, but what trials and travails are hidden under that camo scheme?

Changing in the Forum team - continuation ...

With all these newly promoted mods, I wonder if the chances of getting banned have increased. More sets of sensibilities to offend, ya know... ;) In all seriousness, congratulations. :pilotsalute:

The only dark spot in your ascension is what it took to make it happen. Congratulations from across the pond! -from a colonial who also casually hates ketchup...

    Propeller Design

There are lots of factors, some of which have been mentioned, but some important ones which have not. I love watching the videos that this guy produces. Here is a very relevant one: https://youtu.be/EKR-Obdq8_E

    B-52 doing the crabwalk

SORT of automatic. There was a large horizontal wheel, at the starboard rear of the center console, between the pilots, that controlled the crab angle. The control wheel inputs went to a BIG metering valve, that actually moved all four of the the gear to the commanded angle. The angle off center...

    B-52 doing the crabwalk

Very few aircraft bothered with a "rectangular" landing gear set-up. Most have a three-point, with the nose gear being the only one steerable. And by the way, those greaseplates would be useful under the nose gear, too. Even the modern superheavies, with LOTS of gear trucks, still only have one...

    B-52 doing the crabwalk

As a former maintainer of that airframe, in its now-retired "G" model, testing that feature required placing the airframe on "greaseplates", which were much like their name. Two large, (~1yd/1m on a side) square steel plates, with a handful - literally - of grease sandwiched between, were placed...

    Brewster Buffalo vs. Morane-Saulnier M.S.406

A big point of this site IS to share information, but we all must be careful to clearly separate facts from fantasy. "I wanna make it so" only has so far to go, when actual facts are the point in question! And "what if" is a wonderful game to play, and we all do it for something or other, but...

    F4U vs FW190

I can't get links to work, but go to YouTube, and look up the "Greg's Airplanes and Automobiles" channel. He does wonderful, in-depth descriptions of LOTS of things, including this very subject. Backs up his opinions with detailed, primary source documents. Lots of fun to be had, going down...

    I Believe It's Official, I'm "Mature" Now...

The lessons I tried to give my two boys for this situation were simple, but difficult. They (as most of us do) needed to be taught how to be a good adult, and a good person. Demonstrate to them good decision making, and try to teach them good decision making skills for themselves. My older son...
