Best Scene from a War Movie or TV show

Like to add final episode of Band of brothers. When the German General is speeking to his troops and gives his final speech. And still one of my favorite scenes in Empire of the sun when the young boy walks up to a Zero, at the airfield and the pilots salute him.

Yeah The japenese didn't have to attack in Pearl Harbour. The actors and and Directors sunk that movie all on their own. Can they be hung for treason by making that movie?

    Best Aviation movie

I'm Glad to see that although there was some good flight seens in Pearl Harbour no one has mentioned it. Terrible plot, that could have had so much promise. For that Battle I like the movie Tora Tora Tora. I also have to give mention to 12 O'Clock High Great bomber film.

    Your Personal Airforce

I was a little suprised at some of the choices for the Recon aircraft. I was wondering why the choice of the arado 234C over the mosquito. There is an obvious speed advantage. My reasoning for the mosquito would be the longer range and the servisability of the aircraft would be easier. Same...

    Your Personal Airforce

I don't know if this has been covered before but I will put this to a test. If you had the chance to build and airforce from any plane from 1939-1945. What would your choice of planes be. Note you can choose planes from any country, during the time frame stated, and they must have seen...

Last year I was able to live out a dream of mine. I was able to take a flight in a B-17 (Sentimental Journey) that the Commemerative Air Force was flying. I must say it was a real thrill. After recently joining this website, I thought here are some people that could really enjoy some of these...

    Most 'Underrated' Aircraft of WW2?

OK I see that the focus has been mostly on the E.T.O. Let's move on and see what the Pacific has to offer. Shall we see if the Pacific has anything to offer. May I suggest the Japenese Tony fighter. fast, nimble, average firepower.
