I remember seeing aircraft at the airfield when I was a kid, some 60 odd years ago. All gone now, melted down for scrap.

I can tune the radio to hear music, I cannot do the same to hear aero engines. Great construction shots, better than the aero shot. Good attempt, but fell a little short of being rememberable.

Peter Jackson's model of an Avro Lancaster at Hood Aerodrome, Masterton, New Zealand. This model was made in China (where else) of steel and fibreglass. This it the first time it has been erected. Maybe the colour remake of the Dam Busters is still on the cards, well hopefully.
