How about the Sopwith Triplane? I was pretty surprised to learn that Sopwith made such a thing. Oh well, live and learn.

Nice feel good story, but there's a snag -- the name Roman Turski is not listed anywhere I can find for the Honour Roll of fighter pilots who flew during the Battle of Britain on the British side including the Free French and Poles. I first read this story and pretty much accepted as true back...
