Hi Ian, A friend of mine has just got hold of the grand slam Lanc with the motorized props. He wants to do Taits Lanc that he flew on the Last raid on the Tirpitz, did it have the nose turret or was it removed. His plane was KC roundel D Any help would be much appreciated.

I would have to say the fw 190, but as a night-fighter the HE 219 seem to remember reading about one of those shooting down 5 Lancasters in a single sortie.

Was thinking the other day if it was part of the pathfinders then it would have had a black underside not grey, anybody know for sure.

I am trying to find pictures of the mosquito that Guy Gibson was flying before his crash, have done a model of the Lanc he flew and think a model of the mossy would complete my little Gibson collection. What i know at the moment is it was a Mk XX, Reg KB267 AZ - E and that he flew with 627...
