Thank you all so much, it is great to receive the feedback gents.:D
She's a whopper fellas  (fortunately I have the room to work on and store these 1/32nd models). The models detail is magnificent, Grumman built them like the proverbial "Brick Sh*t House" and the model is engineered...
G'day good peoples, the latest one completed. A very nice kit from Trumpeter their 1/32 TBF-1C
Quite a complicated kit to build but your patience will be rewarded with a fine looking model. The trickiest bit is you need to plan ahead with regard to your assembly and painting procces. If you...
His mount Sept 44, based around the exquisite Hasegawa 1/32nd Kit. Markings are painted on, cobbled together from the spares box and the 1./JG27 insignia are home made. They are printed on Testors Clear Decal Paper and are layed down on a background of white. I used my Laser colour printer to...
G'day all, thankyou very much for your replies. It is great to get the positive feedback as it keeps the modelling fire burning. I'm not sure what I'll do next buildwise but I'll keep on building them.
Cheers fellas I'm wrapped.
All the best

G'day Gentlemans, I've finnished up with this one. I may put her on a base but the model itself for all extents and purpose is done! Not a bad kit, it can be a bit gimmicky or fiddly in places but an enjoyable build all the same.
Thanks for looking.
Cheers
Jim:)
I'll chime in here........
for what it is worth Dirk, that is a really good first effort and in 1/72nd scale to boot!!!!
Nothing wrong with that mate, it's pricked your interest back into model building and you have built and completed a model.
Two right outcomes as far as I am concerned.
Keep...
Thanks very much fellas, I'm chuffed with the responses. It is different that's for sure! .............
Airframes if you do dig up the photo I'd be interested in seeing it mate. Once again, thankyou for your positive feedback to my whim. :>)

Ok this is a little nuts  but it was good fun doing it and that's what it's all about :D
I think the kit was given to me (from memory) and it is an original Revell pop, weighs about
5kg's with allthe bog in it........ Which means it would go straight through the ice with those little...

Quickie build, no dramas with the kit itself, typical Tamiya well oiled machine. The most difficult part of the kit is the U/C legs, just trying to align them and get them to look "right" in that Wurger stance. I changed the markings around and added a few so this machine represents no one's in...
Thankyou all very much for the positive feedback Gents:D.......... Kevin the instrument panel details were painted using enamels and a very fine dental pick. A couple of deep breaths, good lighting and a steady hand helped too!
Once again fellas, thankyou for your kind comments.
Cheers.
