A friend gave me this piece of an lancaster, the info on the piece is that it came from a lancaster that crashed in august -44 after
a bomb raid on stetin, probably the id of aircraft is Oor Wullie, LL757. The date and place of find makes it at least 99% ocf being this aircraft...

Yes i know about the sk 15 but chose to use the international designation so more people shold know what i was writing about.
This could be from on of the klemm the swedish airforce bought from germany during the war, but i doubt it a little bit
as there are no swedish markings on it...

After searching the web i think that i have som additional info.
On the aluminium plaque it says
Motor: HM504a2 and not 50402 as i first thought, this is for the engine Hirth HM 504-A2 that was used in Kl 35
Flugz: KL35S means probably Flugzeug KL35...

It was a lot of Lancasters that came down in sweden, especially in the southern parts.
I have found one place out in a forrest that is full of pices and melted metal that i think is parts of engines.

Please let me know if he knows anymore. It has become somewhat of a hobby of mine to find lancaster crash sites.
So far i have found 4 different locations out in the forests and found scrap pieces on every spot, as soon as winter is over i have 3 more possible locations
to take a look...
