Larrythepilot

I'm a Vietnam vet, US Army, Quartermaster Corps, spent the whole year of 1966 in Nha Trang. I spent most of my working career in the plastics manufacturing business making food service disposables (plastic cutlery, cups, etc.), retired in 1999. I used my veterans benefits to obtain advanced pilot certificates. I'm rated to fly airplanes (land & sea), helicopters, and gliders. Instructor for airplanes and instruments. Was an FAA Designated Pilot Examiner for 15 years. Have almost 9000 hours of flight time. I don't do very much flight instruction anymore, but I still own and fly a 1961 Champion model 7EC 2-seat taildragger airplane. I have volunteered with the Freeman Army Airfield Museum for the past 20 years. Was the President for 5 years, and have been the Curator for the last 8 years.
