    Dear Sir,
I am an archeologist and regional historian of Pilsen, Czech and now I find your message about the fate of your uncle Robert J. Dobson on airraid Pilsen (originaly Plzen) on 25th April 1945. I am very interesting about it /about 12 years ago I and my friend published book about airraid on Pilsen/.
I would like to ask you for any other, detailed information on your uncle, I will welcome if you have some information about his life, military career or even some photographs of him or his crew and plane.
    Yours truly, Jan Vladar

The story of your uncle aircraft is still mysterious, all crewmembers bailed out over combat line (somewhere in Germany, close Czech border) but S/Sgt. William W. MEIKLE was missing, her body was found 5 years after war and now he is buried on Fort Scott National Cemetery, Kansas
I am ready to prepare a short story about The Thumper crew from our local archives.
