Echo Dan's comments on the gun hatches. Sand and prefit like you've never sanded before :) Think I ended up with a mere wafer of plastic left before they sat even remotely in the hole. Oh aye, growing an extra arm helps too.

Hi Dale, hope it's not too late but having performed an octopus impression to get mine together (I'm not holding that up as a paragon of the modelling craft, by any means) looks to me like the cockpit tub needs to go back about 1mm. The sloped bits at the back of the cockpit should fit nicely...

Thanks Evan. I think I've worked out what causes the undercarriage leg issues - when I did Dortenmann's D9 (210003) I got that about right, the main difference was I stuck the wheel covers on after the legs. This time I stuck the covers on before fitting the legs and that restricts the...

Great work all round there. Quick question - MK108 Kanone - with or without blast tubes? As in - would the blast tubes be the only bit visible or would the actual cannon barrel be visible (this is for the outboard guns)? The brass comes in two pieces, just want to get the right one :)
