Hell everyones makin' cut-backs, ford alone is terminating 30,000 jobs and the other auto makers are down-sizing also :x . And a good few of them are just about to qualify for pension and other great things they were promised when they went to work in these companies .....and that's f'in wrong...

Oh....... I know they won't. It's not in my gov's nature to retire any military machine until they have completely out lived their usefulness case in point the Buff-52. The "Hog" will be around for quite a while, but that's just my opinion I could be wrong.

For me there is no way to compare planes from different era's. The military channel did a top fighter all-time based on different aspects of each plane like power plant, armorment, manuverabity, amount produced and the impact they on history and I am proud to say the "Mighty Mustang" took top...
Yes the A-10 was designed around the cannon which goes from nose to just in front of the wing including the ammo drum. As for being replase anytime soon, that would be a tremendous mistake.
Being a navy brat I gotta vote for the Blue Angels, saw them when I was a kid they were still flyin' the F-4 back then. I lived right by the airport they did thier show in Florida and Boss flew so low I could damn near see his nose hair. As for thier C-130 support plane all I can say is R.A.T...
