Hello Mr Fubar, as a person doing photography for living and also practising techniques from 1850s till the most recent ones, I kinda know how people do it.
Also Wurger, I know that selling multiple sets - makes multiple amounts of money :) I just thought it was a genuine set of shots. Like some...
Considering that all those images are coming from the same album could the machine from #545 be the same as "14" in #548? Just shown after the repaint of the fuselage & repaint of the band?
It is interesting to see the Fw 190 in post #545 (Yellow 14+ ???) with the cross being overspray so much with the surrounding camouflage.
What are the white lines on the fuselage of the machine in post #531? Marking guides? Or???
And could Red? 9+ from post #542 be the same aircraft that is...
Hello Sir Francis
I have discussed a similar Fw 190 A-8 from JG300 too that was repainted during its service life similar to Rote 19
You can check the discussion on TOCH: Focke Wulf Fw 190 A-8 "Red 3+-" Kornjark" - Luftwaffe and Allied Air Forces Discussion Forum

Can we suppose that this White 8 (Nº unknown to me) was photographed at the same time as Nº277's port side shot?
Light direction & hardness is the same (scan is a bit ____tier), cockpit opened, the scenery the same...
Please note that the cowling's tip (housing water tank) is very worn out (same...
Thanks Fubar! Will check in a second!
And hello @le_steph40 et al,
Here is a not so great translation of Avions #161 page dealing with D.520 & Nº277:
Intro: "As technically brilliant as it was formidable in the air, the D. 520 was undoubtedly the best French fighter of 1940. However, it had...
It is always interesting to see some of the Soviet aircraft that had Numerals painted parallel to the ground rather aligned with the aircraft's axis. Few French aircraft were spotted being marked that way too. For sure it is much easier :)
Hello Glenn & other gents,
This is the most interesting subject, considering that Le Gloan was the highest scoring pilot & most of his scores came from this mount, so for anyone who likes D.520 this machine cannot be ignored. It is also nice (as mentioned & known) that his machine managed to go...
