Thats an old story thats been hanging around for years but i've read various accounts from ex il2 pilots and their gunners were generally just normal recruits, there were some reports of the suicide gunners but never did any of these pilots ever see one themselves. It was a bit "Loch Ness monster".
I'm not saying that its a bad aircraft as such, but the JU52 at one point in the war around 1942 they were losing more of them than they could replace. Something like 500 lost in a couple of months as opposed to 400 being built. It was a bit of a deathtrap i think. Does anyone have any more info...
I was in my local shopping centre and there was a Breitling watches stand with lock on playing on three 42" screens with a pilots seat and big Saitek joystick built in. There were two of these rigs sitting side by side and you could fly against each other. The best bit was the models who showed...
The Bf109F4 or the LA5FN are great dogfighting planes, The P38 is brilliant for boom and zoom tactics and the a20G is the best bomber as it flies much like a fighter.
Rudel was brilliant, i'm sure he would have been a better fighter pilot than any other Nazi if he wanted to be, he just liked blowing up stuff with bombs
The physics are scaring me but i think i get the idea of the original post
Fighter: Mustang
Light/Attack Bomber: Thud or FB mosquito
Medium Bomber: B26
Heavy Bomber: B-29, well it is really the only choice
Transport: ME323 for the fun value
Fix your guns to around 300m, makes you think more about your shot, where to lead your target and teaches you to get closer before you shoot, making you more accurate. Shooting at 700 to 1km is too messy
Reboots are usually due to overheating or memory failing. If you feel you can do it, remove power lead, open your case and check the insides. There may be a bit of fluff built up which restricts airflow or other guff over the CPU fan or Graphics card fan. Try running the computer with this open...
You are way too low, the bomb doesn't fragment until its about 75m from the aircraft. then it still needs altitude to spread out, otherwise its not much more use than a iron bomb
Does anyone think there would have been any difference to the fortunes of the Luftwaffe if the HE100 and the FW187 had of been produced. The HE219 hadn't of been ignored for years and the HE177 had of been 4 separate engined from the start.
I don't really have any idea myself, but they all...
