I voted Spit. Earlier i would say the Messerschmitt and it were equel But the later models outclassed the BF-109 by sheer quality.

Id be in a naval wing. Dont know exactly what they did but i have always loved naval patrol planes and squadrons.

Well i was here a llooooong time ago. I got busy and jsut now got back. I still probably wont get back for awhile. But this is my list. P-40 warhawk. Fighter Junker 87 Dive Bomber Texan .trainer SM 79. Light bomber. Heinkell 111. Bomber Arado. Anti sub warfare...

What I think it all boils down to is this. The italians were good airplane designers ,but were behind the Allies and Germany.. Very good designs but bad manufactering capability reduced the quality of the planes .. They were still better than the Japanese planes in my opinion.

Maybe he didnt ban the jet development ,but he did stop all projects early in the war that wouldnt immediatly effect the war effort. That was changed by late 41 early 42 but I think that if he hadnt they would have had the V1,V 2 rockets and the messerchmitt 262 by nov,dec 43 . A lot...

Well I didnt know that the heinkell 100 did see service :( If it did not more then 10 to 50 of them did And I also thought that the P-80 did see service.. Oh wait a minute I bet you ment in WW2 . I ment in WW2 and the immediate post WW2
