I have been building models, both flying and static for 55+ years now. The B-17 has been my passion and area of expertise for over 40 years, mainly the airframe and all of its nuances, as well as WWII theatre's and groups that B-17's operated in. I served in the Airforce as an airframe technician, specializing in the C-130. Later I was an aircraft refinisher for a local company that restored Warbirds and private Aircraft. Painting and historically accurate markings are my forte'. Graphics and Art have always been in my blood, I am working on an accurate set of B-17 drawings, based on Boeing's blueprints and drawings and using references I have amassed over the past 40 years.
