Bearcat - Vietnam but not Korea?

While having a wee look at aircraft used in Vietnam I noticed a Bearcat. I thought this odd as they were not used in Korea. Guess I'm missing something here. Why were they not used in Korea but used much later in Vietnam or was the website I was looking at wrong? Thanks, Nigel

    RN - 1950's carrier deck

I'm building a Wyvern and decided to get a base for it as I would like to model it sitting on a bit of carrier deck, possibly with a few figures. I notice several types of carrier deck available but they tend to be either WWII and US or IJN. I know US and RN carriers had different kinds of...

Cool Il2 vid I found on Google

I know what you mean - think the music gives it that sadness. It took me a while to realise as it edit's back to the staff car driving past the line of planes each time there are some planes missing. Some of those battles looked pretty fierce!

    Bearcat?

While looking at various aircraft that took part in Korea I see quite a few types listed from WW2 like the Mustang, Corsair, Invader etc etc but I can see no mention of the Bearcat. So . . . did the Bearcat see use and if not why? I'm guessing it was just as capable as the Mustang, Sea Fury...
