    GB-67 1/72 Do-335 - Twin Engine in WWII

The decal film is the decal itself. There is a gloss coat as a base and semi gloss over the decals. I used Set and Sol to settle them. I might try some more clear.

    GB-67 1/72 Do-335 - Twin Engine in WWII

Getting close to finish. The gray in the camo does look better in person or in sunlight. Should be done in with plenty of time to spare (mere seconds).

Books aren't the only source of ASS airplane info. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CSm1bMT_R6g WWII US Bombers is consistently the best youtube channel for this kind of info. He has all kinds of period reports; graphs; and data. It has come to the point that you HAVE to be very careful about...

    GB-68 1/72 Fw 190A-5 - We all build Fw 190

Took a look at the instructions mainly to pick a scheme and there are four choices. Two of them don't "look like" a 190 to me; of the other two this one resonated with me. @Lucky13 , this one is also for you...

    **** DONE: GB-68 1/48 Fw-190A-9 - We all build Fw 190

Whenever someone mentions that "you won't see the detail" I have to think that the detail is there for the builder, not as much for the viewer. The knowledge gained by handling the parts is much more ingrained than any cutaway drawing or description.

    GB-67 1/72 Do-335 - Twin Engine in WWII

Not sure what is going on with the gray. I used Tamiya XF-63 as the instructions called for, and it looks darker in the bottle. I masked the top to spray the light blue on the bottom, so I can't see now what it looks like right now. The patches in my paint booth (a large cardboard box) look...
