    Revell Mig-3 1/72

Heylo, been busy with work for a bit so not much time to work on this. And I've started an MS 406 aswell, as this is becoming a model to try my hand at new things, which is also good! Best way to learn. I reshaped the air intake with Milliput and tried my hand at the cowling ( I think thats...

    Revell Mig-3 1/72

Heres where I've got up to, been busy with work and such >< This kit is really not great at all. Tis riddled with inaccuracies. The hole below the cooler (I think thats what it is ) on the photo is where it came up to originally and was square and sharp edged. The intakes stick out too far and...

1/72 Airfix Spitfire PR XIX and Seafire side-by-side build

Minor quibble aside, thats a beautiful pair of Supermarines you've made there :) I'm only really starting to like colour schemes like that on the PR version now thanks to seeing nice builds like this.

1/72 Mig 3 "Red 02" of the 120th IAP of Moscow Air Defence, Completed (Almost)

Yup, a nice improvement :) The wire looks a lot nicer :D Need to get me some tights >>

    Revell Mig-3 1/72

Have got around to having a go at this again. As I said, the wheel wells were a little shallow so I thought I'd give them a go. Given that this is the first time I've tried something like this, was a little nervous about what to do. But I think so far I've gotten a decent result, just needs a...

    1/72 Airfix Spitfire Mk1

Righty, will do :) Thanks. Any idea on how to make the canopy seem more 'connected' with the fuselage? Theres a little tiny but of gap on the front but I dont want to do anything too drastic.

    1/72 Airfix Spitfire Mk1

Heres what she looks like now. Thanks to Evan, she has a finished cockpit! Unfortunately, she'll have to stay this way till the Decals come back in stock >< Or can I ring them up and get them to specifically order some for me from the manufacturer? I have very little experience with these things...

Trackends Attempts 2nd ever build a Spite IX

I kinda like it. It has a nice gritty feel to it :) And I agree with Wurger, leave it alone, and if you feel you made a mistake with it, improve your next kit with the information you now know. Personally, I think it looks fine and if the rest of the Spit matches up, you'll have a nice model on...

    Revell Mig-3 1/72

Thanks guys \o/ Am still not happy with certain parts being too thick or too thin etc. Have always been a bit of a perfectionist when looking at my own artwork as I'm sure many of you are. Is a blessing and a curse >< Like I said before I used to make a few with my friend about 10 years ago...

    Revell Mig-3 1/72

Hokies, cockpit update! And I started cutting out the wheel wells as they were in no way deep enough ><

1/72 Mig 3 "Red 02" of the 120th IAP of Moscow Air Defence, Completed (Almost)

It looks good :) Don't put yourself down! And maybe for the wire, try what Wurger suggested to me. Getting some nylon tights and pulling a thread out. But aye is grand, I know how big some of the gaps were so you've done an ace job with that. Also, is it just me or is the canopy...

    Revell Mig-3 1/72

Thanks guys, still working on the cockpit >< Decided I could do a little more. I think I'll go for the red wings Dirk, I just seems such a nice unique colour scheme to pass up, even if it might be wrong. Looking forward to seeeing yours complete :D

    Revell Mig-3 1/72

While I wait for the final parts of my spit to get together I thought I'd start on something new. I just got a Yak-3 from Hasegawa to go with my Revell Mig-3 and La-5 so I'll be working on this trio of Soviet fighters for a bit. :) The Revell Mig 3 appears to be the same mould as the...
