    Monogram B-24J?

Yeah the D is already out it's a shame that it's just a repop of the old moulds, no PE or resin. The J was supposed to of been out by now but it's not. Maybe they are going to offer different builds i.e. Ford built etc with the option for the Emerson or other turret or even a Boulton turret for...

    Monogram B-24J?

Nah sorry mate, I've got another 41 to build, all I need now is the space to put them all when I'm done :D I might just change to 1/72 once I've go this build done and the others out.

    Monogram B-24J?

There are loads on E-Bay, I've now got 4 x J's and 2 x D's in the stash. I'm in the process of grinding out the "D"'s interior (along with building a Mossie and some other things ;) )

    1/48 Pro Modeller Heinkel He111H-22 with V-1

What's the difference between the Pro-Modeller HE-111 and the Monogram one? I posted my built Monogram one here and I'm interested in the difference. How much do they go for these days, I paid $18 NZ (which is about 6 pounds for mine, 2nd hand without a box but everything else was there).

    Humbrol Paints - Your views?

I've been using them on and off for years. Most of my tins are 10-15 years old but still mix and apply well. I rarely hand paint with them but I airbrush with them a lot. I find it's just a case of knowing what ratio of thinners to use. Talking of which you haven't changed your thinners or...

    Battle damaged Avenger

For a kit that's nearly as old as me you've sure done a good job on it. I love those old Monogram kits myself, they were light years ahead of the others at the time. She looks great and the battle damage looks just right, well worth hanging on to.

    What are they worth?

About 8 years ago I paid about 300 pounds for a full set of 8 manuals for a B-24 all in mint condition. It cost almost as much to ship them from the States lol

    Is this footage fake?

I've just been told it's actually a splice from a real plane over a model, done in CS4 by a studio. I'd love to know 100% either way.

Best American Heavy Bomber of WW2

Depends what Airforce you are talking about. The Commonwealth squadrons used them at much lower levels so the ceiling didn't matter. I must say I've never heard of a B-17 that had as high an altitude as a MKVI Liberator, unless you are talking about the early Libs? Anyone else getting Dejavu here?
